HUMANS OF NEW YORK

I discovered an amazing Facebook Page this morning thanks to a friend of mine. I love it when you discover new pages simply because another friend has 'Liked' it, one of the many pro's of Facebook (and as a business page owner I can tell you there are many con's of Facebook too, but that's another story!)

Humans Of New York is a page created by New York photographer Brandon. "I thought it would be really cool to create an exhaustive catalogue of the city’s inhabitants, so I set out to photograph 10,000 New Yorkers and plot their photos on a map. Taken together, these portraits and captions became the subject of a vibrant blog, which over the past two years has gained hundreds of thousands of followers."

Finding this page has come at a great time for me, as we are coming up to the one year mark since we were in New York ourselves. The thing I loved most about New York was the people. The collection of vibrant inhabitants of the city, from all over the world, of all different classes, and all different ages, celebrating their own style & beliefs, together forming the soul of New York. This page, and these pictures, really show you what New York is all about...
